You don't have to kiss me, to kiss me.
The challenge is to find another way
to let me know each moment how you love me,
whether with me, or whether far away.

Kiss me with your words, I beg you.
Make my life a wondrous waking dream.
How I long to hear you sing my praises,
telling me how beautiful I seem.

Kiss me with those looks I long for,
when I catch you from the corner of my eye.
Each tender, pained expression ought to tell me
that in a moment spent without me, you might die.

Kiss me with your laughter, my darling.
Kiss me with your sadness, and your tears.
Share with me your every deepest feeling.
Kiss me with your hopes, your dreams, and fears.

Kiss me when you spy a rainbow.
Kiss me when you hear a bird in song.
Open up my heart to each emotion.
Kiss me with your right, and with your wrong.

I can never truly know you, though I love you;
so a little reassurance won't be missed.
Please plant a gentle token of affection
on lips that are just longing to be kissed.
