Do you hear my lonely siren's call?
It is the cry of my heart.
The cry of the desolate -
a creature caught between two worlds.
Caught between the earth and the ocean.
Caught between the sea and the land.
My head is in the ocean, my heart on the land.
My heart is in the ocean, my head on the land.
Forever out of my element.
A fish out of water;
A girl, lost beneath the waves.
Under a long and louring sky
I stare out across the endless ocean
As the waves break against my rock, my island, my sanctuary.
The beat of their foamy swell is the beat of my aching heart...
"You want what you cannot have."
"You want what you cannot have."
"You want what you cannot have!"

    Weird, but I often dream of mermaids. Must say something about me! Don't know what!
